Navigating Dual Heritage!

The Challenges of Growing Up as an African Girl in the UK

Being a Teenager is tough, but for us African girls growing up in the UK, it can be even harder. Dual heritage can be both a gift and a struggle.

Life is just plain confusing sometimes!

Like when you experience one culture at home and another at school. Feeling frustrated, confused, or wanting to shut it all out is not unusual. The truth is, we all need a space to figure some of this weirdness out.

At Blossom, we understand we girls need a big sister or an aunty every so often. We need someone to help us understand changes and differences, cheer us on, or hug us and say it will be alright. We need to be supported and loved, but we need someone who understands us.

That’s why we founded Blossom.

We also provide essential services such as Mother & Daughter Group Coaching and Keynote Speakers.
